What We Believe
Rooted in God's Word, Guided By His Word
The Bible
At our church, we cherish the King James Bible — the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments — as the inspired and perfect Word of God.
We believe it is completely true, trustworthy, and God-breathed, serving as our final authority for faith and daily living.
Through its pages, God reveals His truth and guides us in how to live for Him.
Every part of Scripture points us to Jesus Christ, the heart of God’s message and the center of our faith.
2 Timothy 3:15–17; 1 Peter 1:25; 2 Peter 1:19–21
GOD
We believe in one true and living God, who has revealed Himself in three persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
These three are co-equal and co-eternal, sharing the same divine nature, power, glory, and perfection.
Together, they work in perfect unity and love, fulfilling God’s gracious plan for creation and redemption.
Matthew 28:19; John 14:16–17; 2 Corinthians 13:14
GOD THE FATHER
We believe that God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth, the source of all life and goodness.
By His powerful word, He sustains and rules over all creation with perfect wisdom and love.
In His amazing grace, the Father gave His Son, Jesus Christ, so that through Him, all people might find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.
Genesis 1; Ephesians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:4–5
The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man—conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary—to reveal God and redeem mankind.
Through His death and resurrection, He provided salvation for all who believe.
Now exalted in Heaven, He serves as our High Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate.
John 1:1–5; Luke 24:1–8; Romans 5:8–11; Hebrews 4:14–16
GOD THE SON
We believe that the Holy Spirit is actively at work in the world today.
He lovingly convicts hearts of sin, brings new life to those who believe, and dwells within every believer as a constant presence and guide.
The Spirit teaches, empowers, and equips us to live for Christ and serve others, and He seals us with God’s promise until the day of redemption.
John 14:15–17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4–31
GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, freely offered to all who will receive it.
Though humanity was created in God’s image, we have all fallen into sin and are unable to save ourselves.
Through repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and made new.
It is only through the shed blood of Jesus that we find redemption and peace with God.
All who have been redeemed are kept by God’s power and are secure in Him forever.
Romans 3:23–24; Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 John 5:11–13
SALVATION
THE CHURCH
We believe that the local church is the body and bride of Christ, made up of all who have been born again through faith in Him.
Each local church is called to live under the authority of God’s Word, following Christ’s leadership in unity and love.
In obedience to Jesus, the church joyfully observes the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, celebrating our faith and proclaiming His grace to the world.
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26
